Did You Move to Exercise Today???
There has been a lot of conversation about what we eat - even to the extent that we are logging in our meals. But here is a question - did you move to exercise today?
Ouch !!! I will be heading out for the gym in about 30 minutes for a 70 minute cardio session - bike and cross trainner - as I am still healing from my surgeries in June. Did a 70 minute session yesterday too .
What about you?????????
2 1/2 years out and I am still trying to work it -
Debra
Debra,
Now that I've just completed my first year as a post-op I am focusing on fitness and exercise. I did a 30 minute workout at curves earlier tonight and then came home and did an hour on the elliptical. Burned up over 500 ugly calories!
I have decided I WILL get below 200lbs and I WILL get to goal (164lbs) - now whether my body lets me stay there is a different story but I'll find that out then.
Keep up your good work!
Take Care,
Terry
You go girl. I have decided that the exercise component is the way to maintain weight loss. I still don't know where I am going to end up scale wise. My doctor has told me I have made goal -- but I have a personal number goal in mind for myself. However, if I don't lose another pound I am satisfied with my current results. Trying to stay healthy for my new phase of my journey "reconstruction".
You will meet your goal - with your level of excerise and determination. Go get it!!!
I like to say that I am still a "work in progress".
Debra
Great Post... because it all boils down to less calories in than out... I think that's the way it goes... I don't know... .
I found exercise to be my saviour from early post-op to almost three years. It changed the shape of my body.
So, Today I did a 30 minute cardio warm up before my 45 minute spinning class. I also added an extended lunch and had a deep tissue massage.
I am learning to incorporate massage monthly into the equation...
Oh, and even exercising daily, I have to watch what I eat to just maintain my weight... protein, water, vegies... you get the picture.
Happy exercising!
