Good Tuesday Morning
I think I'm going to pass on this one, but I want to make another. We're going to the picnic for Dr. Roe's patient's on Saturday afternoon/evening and I think we'll likely spend Sunday at the pool. Only a month of outside pooltime left! I'll keep tabs on the next happening though.
Besides, I doubt I'd find anything at Lane Bryant that would look good on me.

Hello everyone. I am glad to see so many posts today! It is a good day. I just sent my oldest daughter off to California for a week and then to Fiji on a Missions trip. She won't be bac****il 8/21. I will miss her but I am so happy for her that she is going to have this wonderful experience. She will be 17 next month and the time will fly these next two years before she goes to college. I am trying to not be too clingy but we are very close and I know that very soon I'll be getting ready to give her wings.
My husband still has not heard about his job. This is getting so hard. I only pray that we will hear something very soon and that he gets the job he wants. He is pretty stressed out right now and just itching to get back to working. I might try to gently suggest that he do something very part-time, like at best buy or some place like that, until he finds what he wants. That way he is doing something and still has time to job search and interview. A good friend of ours suggested this. He said when he was out of work for 5 months that he had to find something to do to keep him from going stir-crazy. So maybe this will help my husband too.
Work is good today. However, I am working at a new desk and are a bit unsure of what I am doing. Thank God for people that are willing to help out. It will take me a few days to get into the routine of things for the people I'll be supporting. I hope to determine if I want this permanant position in the next couple of weeks. It is busier than the last desk I worked so that will be nice.
Well, I should get back to work. I hope everyone stays cool and hydrated today. I have been dehydrated the past few days so I am really pushing the water.
Hugs, Robin
Hi Robin -
Wow, your daughter is certainly becoming the world traveler! Good for her!
I feel your pain about your husband's job, or lack thereof. My Mom was laid off from BCBS about 2 years ago, and despite numerous interviews and resumes, hasn't been able to find anything. She blames it on her age, but who knows. It's frustrating for all of us. Tell him to hang tough.
Good luck with your job - I still haven't figured out what I want to be when I grow up!!!
Get tha****er in!!!
Are you joining us on 8/6?
Have a great rest of the day!
Teresa
