Where do I find a "belly band", I need support?

I had my surgery on 7/24 and I have been using a pillow for support. Unfortunately, after a call to the doctor they do not "believe" in them so what do I use instead or where do I find one? Suggestions please. Thanks, Tbearz

Hi, I bought a "bella band" for pregnant women and it didn't work-guess I am too big for it. I am hoping to find out from my sister this afternoon where to get one and I will gladly pass on the info to you later on. Hope this can help us both! Julie

I don't know about a belly band but I got a binder that fastened with velcro (it was on me when I woke up from the surgery). It went around the stomach. i went to Johns Hopkins Bayview for my surgery w/Dr. Magnuson. Maybe you could call his office and they could tell you where you could get one from. It really helped me the first few weeks after surgery. Good Luck!!! pat

Check out Medical Supply stores in the Yellow Pages. Ask them if they carry binders.
