I have compiled over 300 diabetic and sugar free recipes that I have been asked to publish. I am considering it... The cost per book would be about $17.00. Is that too much for a cookbook? Would people buy it at price? Any opinions would be appreciated... I really don't know whether to risk it or not... THANKS FOR THE INPUT!!!

Daniel--- That comes out to about 6 cents per recipe!!!!!-- That is a steal!! I bet if you add some of your favorite protein drink mixes in there you could charge more. Keep us posted. Tina PS -- be sure to include as much nutritional information with each recipe -- i dont buy cookbooks (or food) that dont include this-- with this information you may can charge about 10-12 cents per recipe!!!!!!!! This is a small price to pay-- especially when the price for eating wrong is much higher!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Daniel, I'd pay $17.00 for a cookbook with that many recipes. Have you taste-tested them all? Just curious Let us know if/when you go to publication. Take Care, Terry

THANK YOU TERRY for your support... Most important, I am glad that you think the price isn't that prohibitive. That is my fear. I have to sell at least 200 at that price to get them published... I will let you know the details when I have them.. THANK YOU!!!

I have one already that I paid about $25 for, this one has all kinds of Gastric Bypass recipes in it. I love it and would gladly pay $20 for a SF one. The only thing I would like to see is the quantity of fat, protein, sugar, carbs etc.. in each recipe. GOod luck with everything, please make sure you let us know where we can purchase them from. Daniel - Yep, I'd pay $17.00 for your cookbook. Actually, I'd pay $20, so you might want to increase it to that - a nice, round number. It's hard to put a $$$ amount on your time, but you've obviously invested a lot in compiling this. I've paid a lot more for cookbooks that I ended up not liking, but I collect and read them like novels!!! Let me know if you need any help with proofreading, as that seems to be my life's profession! Good luck, Teresa
