Good morning Maryland !!!! Happy Friday (and yes .. I am still bouncing off the walls from feeling soooo much better than last week .. :lol)
What's up for the weekend ??
Tomorrow I might take a ride over to No Virginia to my nephew's rugby game .. I think the game is at 12:30, but it's in Springfield, so I have to work out with my sister if I am going to the game or to her house in Fairfax then go with them. Going to the game will depend a lot on what Mr Mo is doing .. If he's playing golf, then I'll be headed to VA, if he's going to be around chances are I'll stay off the DC beltway.
The firemen are in town .. and Mr Mo being a sort of 'retired' fireman .. we are going to go downtown on Sunday a.m. for the parade that ends the Firehouse Magazine convention. I think the parade starts at 9 a.m. so we will be up and out EARLY early early!!! Depending on the weather I may see what else we can find to do downtown since I don't get there often anymore.
By the way .. dancing was frustrating last night .. I've missed the last two weeks and now I am going to miss the next two weeks ... I'm going to have to re-learn all over AGAIN! and I didn't know much to begin with
Ok, time to get with it here. Have a great day .
Hugs, Mo
Good morning Mo! Heading to VA Beach in 3 hours for my daughters final baton competition. Sounds as if your going to have a busy weekend. Hope it goes well, and some year I'll have to check out that Fireman's parade. Sounds interesting. Do they have a website with info? While there, maybe hit some of the museums. Their always fun to return to! We'll return on Sunday evening, probably just in time for my daughter to go to work. God she's busy!! Therefore I'm busy. Have a great weekend, and I'll touch base on Monday. August 6th sounds as if it's a go for me! Can't wait to meet you guys.

Traci,
I'll check on the website for you for Firehouse Magazine. They have been having the annual convention thingy in Baltimore for many many years and the parade is usually the wrap up to the long weekend's festivities. There are firemen and apparatus from ALL over the country not just local.
Looking forward to seeing you on the 6th also.
Hugs, Mo
Good Friday Morning!
It is a beautiful, hot day today. I like the warmer weather but man, is that humidity hard to take. Still, I prefer the warm over the cold, anyday. I am feeling pretty good today. didn't have quite as hard a time getting up this morning. That may be because I know it's Friday and I love Friday's. My kids will be gone this evening, one at the mall with friends and the other at the movies. My hubby and I have Praise & Worship practice. Then my daughter's friends are coming for a sleepover. My husband wasn't crazy about the idea, he said that is 4 more girls in this house. Oh, well. I think he enjoyed the girls being gone way more than he should have. He just likes things quiet.
My girls and I are going to go see Lady in the Water tomorrow. I like weird movies like that. So does my oldest, Stephanie. She and I are movie buddies. Meghan, the youngest is going to see it too. She just doesn't want to be left out. I understand. I enjoy spending time with them. Usually Stephanie and I make each other more scared during movies than the movie itself. Especially when we jump. It's quite funny.
Mo, I was wondering about all the firetrucks around here this week. The parade should be fun. Saw some guys walking around the harbor yesterday at lunch too. Teresa should have been there.
They were pretty cute. (reference to your post yesterday, tia. lol)
Well, it should be a pretty quiet day here at work. Not much happening and I am already finished with the morning printing. I suppose I'll get out that boring old book and try to read about wallstreet. So much fun!
Hope y'all have a great weekend.

Robin,
When we lived in CT it seemed like my life revolved around the fire company. Mr Mo was deputy chief of the volunteers. Our town was not really active parade-wise, but Mr Mo was also a parade judge, so every week during the summer we were hitting parades because he was an apparatus judge. I think I knew just about every piece of fire equipment in the state 20 years ago.
When he was still active here in Maryland we would go to Ocean City for the annual state firemen's convention in June, and even after he gave up the fire service we would still pop down to check things out, but now it's the Firehouse Magazine parade when we are in town.
I know what you mean .. our Tia would be drooling if she could see some of those cuties wandering the harbor!
Hugs, Mo
