Good Morning Everybody How is everyone today? I'm doing pretty darn great! I have my one year check up with my surgeon this afternoon. I got the results from my bloodwork back from my PCP and everything looks good according to her, let's see if the surgeon agrees. One thing I am kind of worried about is the fact that I have really had no energy here lately. I make sure I get all my protein/water in. I am fanatical about taking my supplements and I take a vitamin supplement and iron supplement daily. I give myself a B-12 injection once a month (on the same date each month). Within the past 4 days I recently added the following supplements: B Complex, L-Carnitine and CoQ-10. I'm going to ask the surgeon about it when I see him today. So what's new with everyone else? Have a great day! Terry

Good morning Terry I'm still at home this a.m. Have a meeting at 8:30 across town so that gives me almost an extra hour at home. I'm all dressed and ready, just need to make my iced coffee shake and grab a can of chicken for lunch and of course give Lefty his pill and feed the boys. Sorry to hear you are having 'energy' problems. I can say (knock on wood) that I've never had any fatigue or energy issues since my surgery and that is without B-12 shots. I am feeling 100% again. After last week that is such a relief. I was beginning to wonder if I was ever going to be better Need to get moving here .. Hugs, Mo

Morning - Funny you should mention your fatigue - I've been feeling that way, too. I get my monthly B-12 from my pcp, but just recently bought sublingual B-12 to take in addition to my other dailies. So we'll see. Let us know how your appt. goes, I'll be interested to hear what he says. Went to Silhouettes last night for a tour, first workout is tonight. Hopefully, that will help with the needed energy. I liked it, you can do the circuit as much as you want, and they have a recording that prompts you to move to the next station. Right now, I'll be on my free week pass, and after that, they have various $$ you can pay, depending upon what you want. They kept trying to explain their weight loss program/diet plan to me, and it's just not for me, especially since what/how much I can eat varies depending upon Randy's mood and the density of the food. So them telling me to eat 1/2 cup of cottage cheese, a salad and some fruit won't work. Other than that, it looks pretty interesting. I was watching a pretty intense class in the back last night, kind of like step-aerobics, which didn't much interest me. But the kickboxing and Pilates does. I also like that they have treadmills, so I think tonight I'll do 10 minutes on the treadmill, the 30 minute circuit and 10 minutes on the treadmill, and then go from there. If I'm not here tomorrow, that means I can't move!!! Hope everyone has a great day! Teresa

Good morning everyone! Well, yesterday was a full day at work. I was beat when I left but still managed to get to curves. Glad I did. I alwasy feel better after I workout. Makes me fell like i really did something for myself. today is another busy day. Kinda stressful this AM but I am getting the swing of things. In another two weeks I'll be at a desk for about 4 weeks. There is an opening there for a permanant position. If I like it there I can tell them I want it and will probably get it. We will see. I haven't heard too many great things about that team. Not that I've heard anything bad, just heard that other teams are so great to work for and no one is in a hurry to take that open position. Might be something there. I'll keep a watchful eye on it before making a decision. Terry, I hope that you will start feeling more energy soon. I hate feeling that way. Most days I am pretty good. I am not as good about taking my vitamins as you are but I know when I don't take them I can feel it. Maybe your Dr. can give you some helpful solutions. Teresa, Thanks for your kind words yesterday. A little time will help us all heal. I just dread telling my girls. It's gonna break their hearts but I know that this is all a part of life & sooner or later they would have experienced this kind of thing. I hope you really enjoy your workouts. The circuit thing is fun, never boring. My fav machine is an eliptical but I don't have access to one of those right now so curves is it and my exercise bike at home. Mo, have a great day. I am glad you had some extra time this AM. Thats always nice. Talk to y'all later. Have a wonderful day! Hugs, Robin

Hey Robin - I was thinking about all of you and Snickers well into last night. It makes my Molly even more precious to me, but also saddens me, because she'll be 11 this year, and she's overweight (gee, wonder how she got to be that way), and supposedly, beagles don't have long life spans. I told my Mom that after Molly is gone, I don't want another dog because I can't handle the heartache when they die!!! I thought it was going to kill me when my last dog, Oreo, a beagle/terrier mix had to be put down - then I felt guilty for not staying with her. I've already decided that I will stay with Molly if need be when the time comes. Molly's been better than anybody I've ever dated, that's for sure!!!! Well, anyway, know that I'm thinking of your family, and I know you'll say the right things to your girls. Yep, kind of half-heartedly looking forward to the gym. Don't know why, because I used to love it. I guess it's easier to go home than go to the gym, but I did bring my clothes with me so I don't have to go home. That would be the end of it! Once I'm home, I hate to go out again. I tried the elliptical about 3 months ago, and couldn't walk for two days!! Seriously, it was a killer. But Silhouettes has treadmills which I really like - who'd ever thought I'd say that????? Well, have a good day. I'm sure you're looking forward to getting the girls home! Take care, Teresa
