Whatcha' Eating??
Well, I did well last night, and resisted the urge to snack after dinner. Yay me! My Mom had oven fried boneless, skinless chicken breasts, and I thought, "Well, time to try chicken again!" so I topped one with diced, canned tomatoes and cheese, and had some broccoli and I'm happy to report that I was able to eat it. Of course, that doesn't mean I'll be able to the next time! After all, Randy is the boss! About 45 minutes after dinner, I wanted something sweet, so I brewed a flavored tea, "Back Porch Iced Tea" from Balto Coffee & Tea, added Splenda and ice, and voila - sweet tea just like Cracker Barrel's. It was pretty yummy. It didn't completely cure my sweet tooth, but at that point, it was time to iron and go to bed, so I resisted! Yay me!
So here it is for today:
AH - 8 oz. coffee/8 oz. skim milk
WTW - 2 - 16 oz. bottles of water
AW - 8 oz. coffee/11 oz. premade protein drink
5 - 16 oz. bottles of water
S - Pure Protein bar w/nsa, lc pb
L - Chicken Italian sausage w/sauce and ricotta
5 - 16 oz. bottles of water
D - ?? Maybe Greek cottage cheese pancakes
So that's it - hoping I can resist snacking again today! The scale seriously needs to move!

I'm still working on finishing up the iced coffee/protein shake I made to take out the door at home. I added an extra 8 oz and more ice to it because I expected to be delayed getting to the office due to my meeting across town.
I've had a SB meal replacement bar to fill the 'empty' in my pouch.
Lunch will be a salad with canned chicken (I ran out of my southwest Perdue stuff .. AND I was going to have to leave what ever I brought with me from home sitting in the truck while I was in the meeting .. so I grabbed a can of chicken) and shredded Mexican cheese, balsamic dressing and a few Kashi crackers.
Afternoon snack will be an EAS nutrition bar or some sunflower seeds
Dinner will most likely be sliced deli turkey on a small Thomas's whole wheat pita.
I think I am skipping the hot coffee today and when the last of the iced coffee shake is gone I'll start on water. I've got a few on-the-go tubes in my drawer for flavor and some green tea on the go type things too.

Sounds good! Yeah, not a good thing to leave lunch sitting in your car this time of year!!!!
Do you have to crack your sunflower seeds or do you buy the already seeded kernels? Do they have a lot of protein, or do they just provide you with crunch?
I LOVE pita break, but sometimes, it sits like lead in Randy.
Ick, don't like the green tea - tried the bottled citrus flavor - ick!

I chew the seeds in the shell and then spit out the shells (in a ladylike way .. ) Medium to low on protein, healthy type fat though, and a good assortment of vitamins, and of course the yummy saltiness of it
I am not sure how I am going to do with the pita bread. Anything bread-like has to be toasted within an inch of being burnt to a crisp to get into my pouch without coming back up.
The green tea is an acquired taste .. one I am STILL working on acquiring!!!!

AM - dose liquid protein, 2 cups of hot tea (15 protein)
B - weight control oatmeal and half an apple (7 protein)
L - Strive protein bar, baby carrots, and an applesauce cup (20 protein)
S - 2 oz light cheese, one serving of wheat melba toast, and a pickle (14 protein)
D - Crab cake, tossed salad, s/f fudgsickel (12 protein)
PM - Zip, Zilch, Nada, no food after dinner!!! (hopefully...)
Vits - Done
Protein - 68 grams
Liquids - want to get in 80-100 oz
Exercise - step aerobics, upper body toning, ab work
Tracy - Right there with ya on the PM - Zip, Zilch (me too, hopefully!)
I know DVR's office advocates nothing but 3 meals a day, but sometimes that isn't enough for me, so I figure as long as I'm making decent snack choices and not gorging myself, I'm okay. We'll see what he says at my one year in two weeks.

Breakfast - Kashi Creamy Hot Cereal w/8 oz milk, SF French Vanilla Syrup, Ground Flaxseed and Splenda
16 oz water
10 oz water
Lunch - 1/2 flaxseed/low carb wrap with approximately 2-3oz chicken salad and 2 slices of american cheese (gotta get all the protein I can)
10 oz water
Dinner - I dunno yet...I'll be hungry though because I'm not going to eat anything else this afternoon until after I get to the Dr. and get weighed in.
later tonight I'll have 1 scoop of tealicious with 22 oz water
I might even spring and have a bag of homestyle popcorn...yummy!
