Good Wednesday Morning Everybody! How is everyone doing? My week's going pretty darn good. At least it wasn't as hot out this morning and it looks to be somewhat cooler today. On the weight loss front, I got on the scale this morning and I'm getting ever so close to onederland! I know I'm gonna cry when I hit 200...I have 1 more lb until the scale reads 200.X and 2 until onederland! Gosh, I haven't been able to say I weigh "one hundred something" since I was 15...back when the dinosaurs roamed the earth. Gee, only 28 years....Better to take 28 years rather than never Another wow moment for me. A little background: My mother bought me a pair of Levi jeans when I was 15. They were 36 waist I recall (I could be wrong because the pants were so old that when I washed them last year, the tag on the waist with the size cracked and fell off)...talk about vintage clothing...hehe. Anyway, when my Mom got them for me I could never wear them, they were too snug. I could not get them zipped or buttoned. Drum roll please....I tried them on yesterday and guess what? They fit!!!!!! They're snug and I'm not ready to wear them out anywhere, but I got them suckers zipped and buttoned! WOOHOO!! You have to understand, this is a HUGE deal for me...these were my "skinny" jeans...the ones I held out as a goal to fit into. Prior to deciding to have WLS, I had resigned myself to never wearing them. Now I'm thinking I may not ever wear them because as soon as I have PS, they're gonna fall off. Oh well, at least if I never wear them it will be for a good reason, right? Anyway, just how is your day/week going???? Have a wonderful day! Terry

Good morning Terry! I love the story of the jeans. I have a pair of cutoffs that started as jeans way way WAYYYYYYYYYYYYy back in 1970. They were the first pair of blue jeans I think I ever owned. I think back then they were a size 18 or 20. Believe it or not, I STILL can't get into them now. I think it's a combination of the way sizes have changed over the years and shrinkage. I had a rough afternoon yesterday. I started to not feel so good after lunch. We had a party here in the office and other than a small piece of the cake I was really very careful about what I ate. I started to have 'flashes' and figured I was dumping (something that doesn't happen often) but by the time I left here at 4:30 I was in full blown achey/miserable/feverish feeling mode so I am thinking it was not dumping. I went home, got into my jammies and crawled into bed by 5:30. I really hated the thought of going to bed that early, because it's going to mess me up tonight, but I just couldn't stay up. Between 9 and midnight I was up probably 4 times running to the bathroom and just barely getting there in time. This morning the headache and the achey joints have subsided some, but I have had a couple of bathroom emergencies already. I'm going to push my fluids today and be careful of what I eat. I'm working on my protein shake now and I had a bottle of water at home before I left for work. Other than that, the week is going just fine!!! Tomorrow night is dancing night again, so I have to be all better for that. Hugs, Mo

Happy Humpy Day Everyone - Running late this morning - bad, bad traffic on 695. A car managed to be on the other side of the guardrail in the grass without actually going through the guardrail - how do you manage that? So, of course, everyone had to stop and look!!! Personally, I sail on by, looking only to make sure I don't recognize the car, then I'm gone! Ugh!!!!! Terry, that's ONEderful - I know you're gonna be there by your surgiversary on 7/28! I feel it in my fat covered little bones!!! I hope to meet you there eventually - like in 37 more pounds, which, unfortunately, feels unattainable right now. But that is so awesome about the jeans - maybe when we both reach goal, we can BOTH fit into them! I'm so proud and happy of/for you!!!! My day should be normal, or as normal as it can be here! Mo, I hope you're feeling better - sounds like some kind of bug - take care of yourself and stay as hydrated as you can! Tracy, glad you're joining us. Maybe you can join us on 8/6 - stay tuned for further info! XOXOXO, Teresa I hope everyone has a wonderful day!!!!

Just a group of us MD folks getting together for lunch/conversation at Arundel Mills. We (Terry, Maureen, Karen and I) got together in June for lunch in White Marsh. Although it was a small group, we had a good time. We've decided to try to make it a monthly to every six week gathering, in different areas, so as not to inconvenience all. Keep watching for more updates from Terry or me, but everyone is certainly welcome. Plus, we can SHOPPPPP!!!! Teresa

Hello everyone. I know that I am pretty late in saying good morning. In fact it is mid afternoon. How time flies! I started the day in training for a desk I am covering next week. Then I moved to cover another desk. Got to do some miniscule work but it kept me busy. I enjoy having something to do rather than sitting and staring at a computer screen waiting for time to pass. I went to curves again last night. I rode my bike for 30 minutes the night before. I had missed several days of exercise, like 8 or 9 in a row. I could really tell when I went to curves on Saturday. My heartrate kept trying to go really high even if I was not really working that hard. I am also trying hard to be diligent about crunches. Those things can really get painful. But I am glad that I can do them. I am up to 150 on my ball. Not too much going on this PM. I am going to work on some calendar updates if I can get logged on. "C" y'all tomorrow Hugs, Robin
