Okay, after my weekend of cupcake indulgence - actually, I only licked the frosting off because that's the best part!!! I thought I'd better get on track now! But already, someone needs to slap me!! Any volunteers? Breakfast - Protein Coffee w/6 oz. skim milk WTW (Way to Work) - 32 oz. of water MEAW (Mindless Eating at Work) - 3 pieces of sal****er taffy - molasses, chocolate and orange (my faves!) Snack - Pay-Day Pro Bar - Not the best protein bar choice, but my Triple Choc Power Crunch tasted weird 32 more oz. of water!! Lunch - Tyson pre-cooked beef tips in gravy, sauteed patty-pan (aka flying saucer squash), cherries if I still need sweet!!! Dinner - ??? Maybe egg salad on cuke slices, maybe cottage cheese pancakes w/cheese, salsa Snack - ??? Mini bag of popcorn CARB POLICE - PLEASE HANDCUFF ME!!! Granted, it was just 3 pieces of taffy, but sometimes, this opens the door for its friends! Back you wretched beasts, back!!!! Okay, whatcha' all eating? XOXOXO, Teresa

so far today .. an iced coffee protein shake .. 16 oz of water, cup of crushed ice (I think this probably ends up about a total of 20 or so oz), 2 scoops instant Folgers decaf, heaping scoop of vanilla protein (20-22 gr protein) powder, 1/3 cup non fat powdered milk (another 8 gr protein), 4 equal packets, a table spoon of non dairy creamer. Then ... 20 oz of hot decaf coffee in the office a South Beach meal replacement bar (another 19 gr protein) So far that is it for the day ... we have that lunch coming up .. I am sure I'll be filchin' a piece of the irish cream cake .. but I've 'pre-sliced' it into VERY small slices .. I am not sure what all we have in there .. I did see a green salad .. if there's not stuff that I am comfy eating, I have salad greens and chicken and cheese and dressing in my little fridge in my office .. I'll probably snack on some sunflower seeds this afternoon and fix another shake when I get home .. I got some convenience dinner type things when I shopped on Saturday and I have one of those Banquet things that I may toss in the oven when I get home .. it needs to cook 55 minutes (why not an hour ???) .. If I get it in the oven by 5 or 5:15 we can eat about 6:30. AND .. btw .. I love that MEAW expression .. I so know the feeling !!! Hugs, Mo

Hey Mo - Have some cake (or just the frosting) for me!!! I try to keep stuff here in the office, too - some Morningstar Farms products in our big freezer, Lemon Tea protein mix in my office along with cheesesticks, so I'm usually prepared. Our Cadet, who's such a good kid (I'm thinking our future Colonel), always makes a lunch run to wherever we want, so the possibilities are endless, providing I'm willing to spend $$$$ - Pikesville isn't cheap! I think, but I could be wrong, that those Banquet-thingys can be microwaved, too - you might wanna check. The kids like them, and I try to sneak a green vegetable or salad and fruit in there, too. Yep, MEAW, that's me lately. I NEED TO STOP! Teresa

I love Laura Ingalls Wilder!!!! Mom bought me a Little House Treasury last year while I was recuperating, and I re-read it periodically for some good wholesome reading. Then I switch to Jackie Collins for some smut! Everybody needs a little sometime!!! hehehehe!!! Quilting sounds like fun - but not my thing, too much like work! I do want to take a jewelry making class, but all the AC Moore at the Avenue offers is scrapbooking!! No thanks! Tia

AM - drank 2 cups of hot tea. B - Atkins protein bar and some s/f applesauce L - Tuna on a bed of lettuce (got it from Subway - ate all of the tuna and about a third of the lettuce) and a s/f pudding cup for dessert S - Planning to have a Pure Protein bar (they're really good, BTW) and maybe some raw baby carrots D - Planning to have grilled orange roughy, tossed salad, and maybe a s/f popsickel or two. Misc. - I'm still working on the giant bag of roasted peanuts I bought over the weekend, so I'm sure I'll have a handful or two over the course of the day. (that's a handful of them still in the shell, which may amount to an ounce or so).

This is good!! I've been losing very slowly lately because I've not been eating what I'm supposed to, so this is a great way to keep me honest!! WTW - Nectar protein shake Morning snack - baked pepperoni, land o lakes cheese snack, 5 reduced fat triscuits Lunch - crab, cheese, tomato omlet (a co-worker made it in the MICROWAVE!) I was in awe of her. It's yummy. She also had WLS, so we're trying to keep each other on track Snacking now on a few grapes. Also had a bottle of water, and a Lipton diet green tea with citrus (YUM!) Dinner tonight will be whatever my hubby cooks after we get home from kick boxing. And, I'll probably have a Power Crunch bar sometime today too. Maybe for dinner. HA!

Hi Lynn - Amen for accountability - I so desperately need it! Oooohhh, share that crab omelet recipe, please!!!!! I sooooo need to get back into an exercise routine. Don't think I'm ambitious enough for kickboxing, though!!!! Have you noticed the PC bars have had a weird taste? Specifically, the Triple Choc, which is my fave. Hmmm, maybe I just got a bad batch! Take care, Teresa
