3 more weeks of liquid and pureed diet
Hi Kelly
My staple was cream of mushoom soup with what ever my hubby was having for dinner or what I wanted. Chicken pureed with poultry seasoning cream of chicken soup with mushroom. Pureed shrimp with old bay cream of shrimp, crab, etc...
I had one of those cup warmers may havr taken an hour but soup stayed warm. Pepermint tea taste good hot, warm and cold (room temp) Baby food is for babies.
except for bananas love them. My favorite protein drink was Wal Mart brand. If you can do milk (some cannot) add a 1/4 cup of powdered fat free milk to a cup of milk increases protein to 16 grams a cup (something like that) super milk. Add banana or sugar free chocolate, even peanut butter (more protein) Welcome to the losing side add one food at a time so you know what you can or cannot tolerate.

Hi Kelly,
I pureed up a few things and mixed them in with the mashed potatoes at times like:
Chili, taco meat, stew, meat loag with a teaspoon of gravy so it wasn't real dry. I also had s/f jello, s/f pudding, s/f popsicles, low fat cottage cheese (I think). I was full really quick so it didn't take much.Good Luck...it'll beover soon and you'll be in soft foods.Congratulations!!! pat
Hi Kelly,
I lived on the following:
poached egg w/saltine (could have saltines because they melt on your tongue)
slice of american or provolone cheese
pureed split pea soup made with milk
slice of americcan or provolone cheese
pureed bean with bacon soup made with milk
did I mention the cheese? hehehe
a wet chicken or tuna salad made with canned chicken/tuna, light mayo and onion powder. Couldn't use celery or real onion until I was cleared to eat raw veggies
cottage cheese
I also took a hamburger and gravy and put in the blender with some water....tasted great at that point
ricotta cheese mixed with cocoa and splenda
I just approached it that I could eat anything (within reason - no sugar or high fat) if I could puree it in the blender with some water or chicken/beef broth)
HTH
Take Care,
