Hello Everybody
Hello Everybody!
I hope everyone had a great weekend, what did everyone do?
My weekend has been hectic but good. I am now officially out of "wedding hell"...hehe. The wedding yesterday was beautiful and everything turned out great. My bgf and her hubby had a beautiful ceremony. As the maid of honor I was in the thick of things and I kept getting compliments about how great I looked, so I guess I should start believing it. I danced so much my feet hurt, but it felt so great to not have 127lbs of excess weight moving around my body as I danced (I know, gross visual, huh? hehe) Part of me knows I've lost all this weight, the other part of my brain looks in the mirror and still sees the 330lb morbidly obese woman. Anyway, with my erratic schedule the past week, I've still managed to get all my protein, supplements and water in. I've lost a few lbs. I'm getting sooooo close to onederland I can taste it! I want to be there when I go for my 1 year check up with my surgeon on the 25th.
Anyway, just wanted to "check-in" for now. I'm sure I'll be posting throughout the week.
Take Care,
Terry
Hey Terry
Don't forget we expect to see pictures too !
I spent Saturday pawing through the clearance racks at Kohls. Managed to find a few things for myself and some shirts for Mr Mo so it was well worth it.
I had a rough time with eating. For some reason food just didn't want to say 'in' me and I was sick a whole lot and actually ended up going to bed earlier than usual last night because I just didn't feel good after throwing up yet again. I feel much better this a.m. I hope this lasts. I think I'll stick to soft stuff today.
Glad to hear everything was so nice for you with the wedding !!
Hugs, Mo
Terry, glad to hear that the wedding went well. Now what are you going to do? I know you've been busy preparing for this for quite a while. Saturday, we went to Lake Anna VA to do some water sports. The kids love it there! It was very hot and muggy while sitting and waiting on the anchored boat, but the water felt great while we were able to just jump in and swim. My oldest son is still with us since his surgery. He's healing great, and was able to join in on all the water fun. Very sad he wasn't able to stick with his game plan this summer, but OCS will be done after college graduation next summer, and then directly onto OTS. He's ready. I'm pretty sure that this will be the last "kid" summer that he will be spending with us. He's the property of the US Marines after graduation in May. Mo, sorry to hear that your feeling bad. Hope today goes better. Today, dropping kids off a****er park. I'll go do my walking at this time. Taking daughter shopping for school clothes/supplies, then chilling. Have a great day at work everyone. Stay on track!!
TraciL
Hey Traci!
Is that the waterpark in Chesapeake Beach? There is a woman here in my office that takes her grandchildren there an just RAVES about it. Makes me which I had a kid to take there! I might just have to rent one to take.
I've had a protein shake this a.m. and feeling pretty good. I think part of my problem both Sat and Sunday was being a little 'too' hungry and giving into what I thought I wanted .. and it was a little ambitious for my pouch. If that makes any sense. Even at almost 2 1/2 years out, I still have a very finicky pouch which is something I am always grateful for. It keeps me from getting into too much trouble.
Hugs, Mo
Hi everyone - even though I am a day late. LOL!! Hey Great NEWS Daniel. Congradulations!!!
BTW - Saw Doc today - weighed in - lost another 3.5 lbs even after 2 1/2 years out. That makes 22.5 lbs since March. It doesn't get any better than that. Has taken a lot of hard work though. I visit the gym 6-7 days a week for a good work out.
Hope everyone one is well.
