Consult with surgeon next week

I have my 1st consult with Dr. Gandsas next week. Also I will be meeting with the nutritionist the same day. I've heard wonderful things about Dr. Gandsas and the staff at Sinai. I am excited and very nervous all at the same time. Can anyone tell me what to expect ?

Hi Crystal, I am also having my consult next week, only with Dr. Li. I'm going to see the nutritionist as well, the same day. My apointment is Weds, when is yours? It'd be cool if we ended up being surgery buddies. Good luck with your appointment! Julie

Julie that would be nice! My appointment is on Tuesday so I'll keep you posted . I have a heard lots of good things about Dr. Li also . I'm gonna keep my fingers crossed. I have Cigna and it seems like its very hard to get approval through them.

Julie are you a patient of Dr. Peter Liao. I am still waiting for Kate to submitt my surgery date to my insurance. I have heard that Aetna is very strick. I have did everything that has been required. I look around the room at the support meetings and seems everyone is moving right along. My primary care doctor's report wasn't detailed enough.
