I would like to thank everyone for there prayers during my surgery July3rd. I am now 9 days post-op . I did however have to be admitted back into the hospital for minor complications but all is good now. I feel good and im down 10 pounds. 223/213 . I have no problems tolorating shakes or liquid. Just trying to get the required amount in is a challenge but I love a challenge.

Crystal, I am glad you are home. I just want to encourage you that you will continue to feel better and better as time goes on. In one book I read the author stated it something like this: you won't feel better each and every day, but week by week you will notice a difference. You will find that the best is truly yet to come! I am nearly 4 months out now and I feel great! I am excited about the future and how things will turn out after my weight loss is over and I am at goal. It'll be so great! I enjoy that I actually look forward to exercising, even just taking a walk with the dog or my dh is somethign that I look forward to. It hasn't been like that for a very long time! Years! Hugs, Robin

Crystal - Happy beginnings! Glad everything is well now. The first month or so is the hardest, and after that, you'll wonder why you didn't do this earlier. Good luck!!! Teresa
