Good Morning, Newbie Here

I just wanted to introduce myself to the Marylander's. I have 2 months left on my supervised diet before I can have my surgery I have completed all of the required testing, it's going by pretty fast. I love all of the info I get from the OH boards, just wanted to say hello.

Hey Stephanie - Welcome!!!! This is a great board, slow, but seeming to gain some followers. The next two months will go by so quickly for you. It's a wonderful journey, one I'm sorry I didn't take much, much sooner! Keep an eye out here for info on our August 6 get-together. We'd love to meet you! Good luck! Teresa

Stephanie - Isn't DVR the greatest?!!! At first, I was a little put off by his seeming aloofness, but he's wonderful, maybe shy, but has a great, untapped sense of humor. His office staff made things go so smoothly for me. His after care has been great also. There's a support group meeting on 7/26 at GBMC. I know it's a long drive for you, but it'd be great if you could attend. Let me know! Teresa

I actually have an appointment out there on the afternoon of the 26th what time is the meeting?

The Support Group meeting is @ 7 p.m. Actually, unless his criteria has changed, I was required to attend at least one meeting pre-op. I try to attend all of them, but you know, life! What time is your appointment? I wor****il 5 p.m., that day, and maybe we could get together for dinner after your appt., and my work, but before the meeting. Let me know, Teresa
