Hi My name is Andrea Banks. I first attended a Seminar given by Dr. Fullum in Washington, DC at Providence Hospital in November, 2005. Two of my co-workers also had their surgeries done by Dr. Fullum and gave him excellent reviews. I was advised by my cardiologist, Dr. Joseph Quash to have the surgery two years ago and he recommended Dr. Fullum to do it, but I kept feeding into all the horror stories people were giving me. I came to realize that I had to make a decision about my life for myself. After the seminar, I came away with a very clear understanding about the surgery and felt completely at ease making a decision to have it thanks to Dr. Fullum. Dr. Fullum is one of the best, and he is the only on that I would even consider allowing to do this surgery for me. I'm sure there are other great doctors too. But.....anyhooo...... I have since completed all my necessary medical tests and then I hear that he's moved...lol. I was devastated. I'm glad to hear that he has moved on to bigger and better things, but I was hoping to have my surgery before school starts so I would be able to accompany my grandaughter to school....lol. That sounds really selfish doesn't it, but I really don't want her to miss any time out of school because of me. I hope this will still be possible. Will all of my test results be transferred over? Is there anything I need to do? HELP! I feel like I'm in the twilight zone here. The previous office is not giving out any advice as to what you should do. I don't even know if my paperwork was submitted to the insurance company for approval This is written in all humbleness. Truly. Looking forward to the surgery and the start of a new life.

Hi, I emailed your questions to Dr. Fullum and his reply is below... ********************************************************** Thanks Val...have her stop by the office and obtain all of her records especially the test results. they will be transferred over and will count. When she is at the office she should ask Carolyn or Brenda if she has been authorized for surgery. Also, give her my phone numbers at UMMC and I will try to operate on her in mid August once I have my priviliges. I will put her at the top of the list. Hi Val, I am hoping to be one of Dr Fullums patients in Havre de Grace. We have been told he has taken a teaching job at the university of Maryland not opening a new office. Do you have any more info? Thanks, Charmayne

Hi guys! I am 12 days post-op and doing great. Dr. Terrence Fullum is the best! Great sense of humor, great doctor/patient skills and very competent. I had absolutely no pain after surgery. The pain management specialist came in the next day and said you only used your morphine pump one time. I said yes, and that was to put me to sleep....lol. My energy level is a little low, but I know that will improve with time. All is well.

OK....HELP!....I'm 5 weeks post-op and I don't feel like eating ANYTHING! I have no appetite whatsoever, and whenever I think about food, I get nauseated. Any answers folks? The only thing I like and doesn't make me nauseated is V-8 juice. And I try to drink as much water as I can. I went to see Dr. Fullum last Friday. At surgery I was 339. I am now 299. 40 lbs down. I've gone from a size 30/32 to a 24! So that's the good news.
