Hey everybody - Feeling especially perky this morning, I want to slap myself!!!!!! Don't know why I'm feeling this way, but I'll take it!! Boy did it rain ALL night! Consequently, my brother's roof is leaking - AGAIN! Sigh! They came and FIXED it, so guess what - they'll be called again! This is so frustrating!!!! Not much going on here, thinking about taking off tomorrow - couple of things I gotta do. Are you seeing a pattern here??? I love working where I do, BUT......but I don't know, I guess I'm in a work funk, but only Monday-Friday!!!! A kid-free weekend coming up, well, Saturday anyway, so I guess Mom & I will be off on our usual jaunts. Going to the Olive Garden with my BGF tonight, we try to get together at least every couple of weeks, as much for my sanity as hers - she's a stay-at-home Mom, and a saint as far as I'm concerned! Okay, so what's going on? Let's wake up folks!! Karen D., where are you girl? Traci? Megan? Danielle? Mo, I know you'll be here, and Terry M., you got some 'splaining to do! I think our get together in the fall should be in Siesta Key, maybe Terry can have us flown there!!!! Alright, so I'm trying, you all try, too!!!!! Have a lovely day!!! XOXOXO, Teresa P.S. Don't forget to water your letter carriers!!!!!

hey there T Mark me down for the Siesta Key trip I am sooo disoriented here with the day of the week. I feel like it is Tuesday. Tomorrow being Friday AND PAYDAY will be a treat! Next week I'm going to be a mess with having to be here 5 days in a row. That doesn't happen to me often .. even when I am working 5 days, I am often not in the office for 5 days in a row. Mr Mo is playing golf some place in Baltimore City with an 8:30 a.m. tee time on Sat morning and we have been invited to a house 'blessing' in Easton Saturday afternoon/evening. I haven't told him about that yet. If he decides to be difficult about it I might just go by myself. Tonight is 'dancing' night. I had so much fun (well .. I keep trying to tell myself it was fun) last Thursday night that I am going out with the girls again tonight. I'll be sooo happy when I feel like I can at least follow one dance and not get my feet tangled up. I've got to find some shoes that I can wear .. I don't think sandals will work so well and it's too dang HOT to be wearin' my boots. But I might be doing the boot thing anyway .. where else to be wearin' my flashy red cowgirl boots but line dancin' I found some chai 'bags' at Super Fre****hink I still need to work on the brewing technique and I'm not sure I am quite ready to give up my decaf hazelnut for it yet ****il I find decaf chai bags ... ) but it is a nice change. Talk to you later. Hugs & smoochies, Mo

Hi Mo - Okay, we'll sit together on Terry's friend's private jet. I've never been to Siesta Key, but I would like to stop in Key West on the way, if that's okay. LOVE that place! Yeah, this week is kind of surreal feeling!!! Is Mr. Mo playing at Clifton Park? The ex, also known as Satan, used to play there. At least until his truck was stolen!! BWAA-HAA-HAAA! Dancing sounds like fun, although I have no rhythm. I'd look like Elaine from Seinfeld!! I'm looking for a pair of dressy type shoes, too, and not having a lot of luck. Flashy red boots, huh? You'll have to wear them for us!!! I pop my chai tea bag into a mug of water, nuke for 3 minutes, and let it sit for about 5. That's all. Not sure if they have decaf chai, but I'll keep on the lookout. Have a great day, Teresa

Hey ! I want to go to Key West too That is on my list of places that I keep agitating to go to .. but it's going to be a very LONG ride in the RV Yep, Clifton Park sounds familiar. I think that is where they are playing. They play different courses depending on who is in the group that is playing. The last couple of times they have played Bay Hills which is right around the corner from us. I've done Jazzercise a few times (once for over a year straight .and then once for about 3 months .. til I got sick with a cold and then it was easy not to go back after being sick for a week or two .. lol) and line dancing is a lot like jazzercise, but not quite so intense. I'm just frustrated because I'm not catching on immediately, but it's a lot to remember the routine . and every song seems to be a different set of steps .. Don't worry, you will see the red boots .. and the blue ones, too. I just don't wear closed shoes if I can possibly help it once the weather gets warm enough for sandals. I saw decaf chai on line, but haven't found it in a store yet. Hugs, Mo

Okay, so I hope it's okay to just jump in here. Y'all are quite chatty this morning. I love it. I wish I were. At least I wish we were busier here at work. It has been totally dead here for two days. That totally wears me out. I like to be busy; it makes the day go by so much quicker. One of my life goals is to take dancing lessons when I have lost about 40-50 more lbs. I always enjoyed line dancing and hope to be able to get back into it again. I never wore boots but I just might do that too. I am willing to try more things since I am becomeing this new person. I start my new job on Monday. I am so excited. It'll be in downtown by the inner harbor. I have only been nto downtown 4-5 times. This will be so good for me. Today is our 1 year anniversary for coming to MD. It's about time I get to know the place. We went to Sandy Point for the 1st time this past weekend. It was nice. I hope to go to Ocean City soon, maybe in the next couple of weeks. I miss the beach. We only lived 1 hour from the bea*****alifornia. I guess I am more talkative than I thought. Must be this very quite place today. Have a fab day, Robin

Hey Robin - Happy MD Anniversary!!! Jump away! We welcome all! I know what you mean about work going slowly when it's quiet. Sometimes, it's feast or famine here. I thought about taking dance lessons too, but I'll probably "weight" until after plastics when I don't have so much "jiggle!!!" I've not yet been drunk enough to dance or sing in public. Thank heavens for small favors. I also make it a point not to drink with co-workers, I don't want to drink in front of people I have to see the next morning!!!! Congrats on the new job! I worked in Baltimore City for about 2 years - hated it - the traffic, the parking, the price of parking, etc. Now I work in Pikesville, and the traffic is still bad - a 20 minute drive on the beltway turns into usually about an hour ordeal. Oh, well, gotta make the $$$$!!! You'll love OC - I hope. Even if I had a gazillion dollars, I would still want my annual OC get-away. I'll try to email you some good places to go, eat and shop. Thanks for getting involved! You have a faboo day, too! Teresa

Hi Robin Welcome!!! feel free to in any time! I am coming up on my 20 year anniversary of living in Maryland. When I first moved here in the fall of 1986 I worked downtown for 4 1/2 years and commuted from Arnold (you probably passed almost right by my house on your way to Sandy Point ). Now I work in Annapolis and I don't miss the commute at all Of course there are days when crossing the Severn River is an adventure on Rt 50. Teresa has been really good at trying to keep us in line and organize some off the boards get togethers as well. The next one is going to be Sunday August 6 at Arundel Mills. Hope you will consider joining us! Hugs, Mo

I know it's late, but I'm here. Left at 7:45 AM to take my daughter to the summer shape-up program at the high school. Usually me and friends walk while our girls are getting their butts kicked, but today was just too rainy. As much as we hated it, we wasted away the 2 hours at a local restaurant - The Frying Pan. I stayed to track, half of a half of omelet, 1/2 piece dry wheat toast and about 1/4 piece of scrapple. Socializing was definitely the draw. Love sitting and chatting. Ran a few errands after the summer shape-up and then came home. Have been fighting a flu bug/head cold thing, and feel that I am now on the mend. Still sick, but functioning. Everyone have a great day and welcome to the MD newbie. Best of luck with your new job. Later, TraciL

Hey Traci! Hope you get to feeling better. This rainy weather really bites. I haven't been walking after work because of the late afternoon storms and I miss it! Hugs, Mo
