Potomac WL Candidate looking for others in the area

Marcia, I'm definitely interested in support groups. I'm planning on checking out Dr. Greene's support group on Monday evening if you want to come along. But I'm all for seeing whose interested in doing a little Rockville support group. What do you think? Carla

Carla, ...and Marcia, Sandy, and others in the mid- and northwest Montgomery County area, if you're looking for a "local" support group, please feel free to join us at Dr. Greene's group meetings. Dr. Greene is a very strong believer in the support group system, and has welcomed into "the fold" many post- (and pre-) ops from other surgical practices where the other surgeons' support groups are out of the area. We meet twice a month, on the 2nd Monday, at Temple Beth Ami on Travilah Road (near Darnestown Road); and 4th Sunday, at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital; at 6:30 in the evening. After the meeting, many of us head over to a nearby restaurant for low carb cuisine and great social support. The next meeting is next Monday, July 10. Hi Carla, My name is Elizabeth and I live and work in Montgomery County. I am also looking for WLS buddies. I just had my initial consultation/education meeting with Dr. Greene and I am trying to schedule all my pre-op testing.
