Yes - it is my understanding that a Maryland Center for excellence is GBMC. My sugeon (see my profile) is one of the participating gastric-bypass surgeons at GBMC. If you have further questions, you may contact me.

Hi Tug, I was just at Bayview for my pre-op anesthesia appt. The nurse who interviewed me said that they were in the process of becoming a Center of Excellence. Hope this helps. Sue
