Good Thursday Morning from Balto!!!!

Hey all! Good Thursday morning! Actually, for me, it's Friday, but I won't rub it in (much)! Drinking my protein coffee, thinking of all I have to do before we leave for OC on Saturday, but it'll get done. I have lots to do at work today, lots of letters to download that we write on behalf of the Governor (my main responsibility - and incredibly boring at times - everybody writes about the same thing - tickets they got that they think they shouldn't have gotten, handguns, permits, etc.) ICK - sometimes! So what's up with everybody? Any news - good, bad, normal? Any new surgeries? Any birthdays, surgiversaries or any other reasons to celebrate! My Mom, God love her, feels that just waking up is a reason to celebrate - I applaud her thinking! I guess that's why she's my biggest supporter! Anyway, hope you all have a great day! Hi honey - Happy Thursday!!! Actually, I'm only perky until people start coming in the office - then I drink some *****berry Koolaid and I'm ready to go!!!! It's funny, when I used to go on job interviews, I'd say, "Oh, yes, I'm a people person," now, I'm like, "Uh, can I have my own office?" And I do, so I consider myself (and my co-workers) fortunate!!! I hope you have a wonderful birthday! Do something awesome to celebrate!! Actually, when we all get together in August, we'll be celebrating Terry's 1 year surgiversary (July 28), and my 1 year (August 2), so we'll lump your birthday, and anything else we can think of, in there! Maybe we can make you a dress out of curtains! I don't know nothin' bout birthin' no babies!!!!! I WILL enjoy the margaritas!!! Wonder if I should take some Altoids???? CYA Soon, T.

and here I thought I was perky in the morning hehehe No new news here...other than today is my "Friday" because tomorrow is my scheduled Friday off. I have a busy weekend on tap. Saturday is my cousins birthday so we're taking her out to dinner and I'm making her birthday cake (strawberry shortcake). Sunday I'm cooking breakfast/brunch for about 30 people up at church as we celebrate Father's Day. It should be a good weekend, but I can think of a few things that would make it spectacular! I hope you have a wonderful time downtheocean (said in my best (or is that worst) baltimore "hon" accent). I would say have a margarita for me, but that's right, I don't like 'em...hehe Hugs, Terry

Now it's afternoon - and I am feeling perkier, but a little more stressed, too. Lots to finish and not a lot of time to do it. Softball tonight, but thank goodness, it's the last game. I've still got some packing to do for the kids, and tomorrow, I have to drop my furbaby, Molly, off at the vets. I HATE leaving her, even though the girls at the vet's office love her; personally, I'd rather leave my Dad and take Molly!!! Sounds like you have a busy weekend - on Memorial Day, I made a "strawberry shortcake," I layered slices of pound cake w/vanilla pudding, strawberry pie filling, but you could use fresh, and s/f cool whip. I'm guessing you could make this as s/f as you wanted, but it was really different and good. Not that I have anything against chocolate, but in the summertime, fruity is good! It's downyoshun, but that's okay, we'll work on your pronunciation! I'll try to call you on Friday, but if I don't, and if you have anything exciting to report (hint, hint), I'll have my cell with me. I'll have a Triple Chocolate Power Crunch for you.
