Get Together - How did it go?

Hi Traci! We had a small group yesterday .. Teresa, Terry, Karen and Me (Mo) but we did have fun. We made plans to do the next one in early August ( I can't remember if it is Sat or Sunday) at Arundel Mills. Hope your son is ok. Hugs, Mo

We had a nice time We're getting together at Arundel Mills Mall on Sunday, August 6th. We didn't set a time, but I'm guessing around Noon.

I live 2 minutes from Arundel Mills - I'm so there! I really wish I could have made it this time but look forward to the next one. Glad ya'll had such a nice time.

Arundel Mills will be very workable. Only 1.5 hour drive. My son is doing great and recovering. I pick him up today and he'll be home for a few weeks to recoop. Then back to Quantico for OCS on July 10. Glad that his plans are back on track. Can't wait to meet you guys. I'll keep looking for updates on time and place. TraciL

Traci - Wondered about your whereabouts!!! Sorry you couldn't make it, hope your son is recovering nicely. We had a good time, and talked about - can you guess? WLS!!!! Thanks for asking about my son. He's home and recooping now. I dropped him off at OCS in Quantico on 5/27. About the 30th I got a call that he was at Bethesda Naval Hospital. He's had a cyst at the base of his spine forever, but it never gave him any problems. While at OCS it decided to act up and swell to the size of a baseball. So, they removed it! Bethesda Naval was his hotel of choice - couldn't ask for a better hospital. Was in the hospital for 5 days, on a wound va****il they could close up the surgery site. He's in great shape, eats well, and is young, so healing quick should be no problem. I felt most upset for him because his goals have totally taken a left turn, but we know that there's a reason for everything. Now's the time to make a new attainable goal. He's already signed back up for OCS on July 10. Very excited and happy for him. Take care! TraciL
