Welcome to MD Cookie!! I'll have to warn you - as a current MD resident - I'd jump at the chance to move to ATL (Marietta, Alpharetta or even Athens area!) in a heart beat. There's nothing like GA!

Hey Cookie, I have to agree that the cost of living is the greatest shock for me so far. The rent on my 2BR apt. here is a lot more than my mortgage payment on my house in Atlanta. BTW, I took a promotion at work and relocated to DC.
