I had my first ever meeting today with the bariatric team for Dr. Fullum in Havre De grace.... I found out some pretty good things for me. This was my first meeting.. and it looks like i may be able to get the surgery in only two months..... I work for Upper Chesapeake which is who this bariatric Team is affiliated with. So They already know the process and know that I will be approved. (several team members have already done it) 100% everything paid for except for 1000$ up front which can actually be SLOWLY deducted from my pay check every two weeks. how great is that~! The faster I get these things done... the sooner I can have the surgery. I already have the Cardio consult schedule for tomorrow morning... and the colonoscopy and Gastroenterology for June 20th... and the blood work half done. I am just amazed. All the past 3 or so years looking into this.. something made me wait until I became a Upper Chesapeake employee. wow. The one sad thing was I weight much more than i thought.. I thought I was 350Lbs.... with a bmi of 57. but actually im 373Lbs with a BMI of 67.2 I know this will be the hardest thing i've ever done.. but, i know the end result will allow me a life without 24/7 physical/emotional pain. Cardiology Consult Sleep Study Laboratory Testing (blood work) Psychiatric Evaluation Gastroenterolgoy Evaluation for EGD Pulmonary Consult Letter from my Dr. Colonoscopy. Attend a support meeting anyways. thanks for listening.

Is Dr. Fullum going to be the surgeon. If so, you are getting probably one of the best in the business. He performed my partners and she hasn't had any problems and come this October that will be 3 years. I would love it if he were able to do mine, however, I don't believe he is contracted with CIGNA. That's great that you work for the coming and other employees have had the surgery as well. Good luck!
