As ya'll know - I'm only 10 days post-op. I see and hear people talk all the time about "sip sip sip" but I can gulp. Should I be concerend? I can't GULP like I used to - but I have no problem taking 3-4 large sips and downing it. Is this a problem w/ my pouch or should I be thankful?

I don't think it's a problem. I've been able to take a healthy mouthful (gulp) since I was about 2 1/2 weeks out. I can't chug a drink, but I'm able to drink quite a bit in a small amount of time.

Hi Megan. I can gulp too and I had surgery on Monday. I was wondering the same thing, is something wrong. I just figure if it doesn't hurt or make you throw up, then it's ok.
