Good morning all!!! I was wondering if anyone has had WLS at St Agnes hospital. I'm having mine there and I've never been there before. Just wondering how the nurses are. Thanks Danielle

I did have my WLS at St. Agnes Hospital over two years ago and my experience was very good with the nursing staff there. I might also add that several members of my family as well as myself have been hospitalized there for other reasons over the years and each time, it was a good experience. I don't think you can find a better facility. Good luck to you. Joann

Just wanted to add that I noticed you have Dr. Averbach as your surgeon. I actually had his partner, Dr. Singh do my surgery, but I wanted to tell you that you couldn't be in better hands with the office staff that supports both of these doctors. They are always there to answer your questions about anything that could come up. Trust me, you're in great hands. Joann

Thanks so much for responding! So far everyone at their office has been wonderful, especially Kristin!!! I'm getting very nervous and I've never been overnight at a hospital before. I'm more at ease now. Thanks again. Danielle

Danielle, Dr. Averbach did my surgery at St. Agnes last July. I didn't have any problems. The nursing staff at the hospital was good. Just do what the Dr's office says and you should have no problems Take Care, Terry

I had my C-section at St. Agnes and the nurses were wonderful. The little nuns even came around and said a prayer for me and the baby, so I think your in great hands. I had a friend with your surgeon, and she is the one that talked me into having surgery. Good Luck hon, your going to do great! Take Care & Good Luck! ~*Debbie*~

HI Danielle, I had my surgery at St. Agnes on THrusday. Dr. Averbach is/was my surgeon. He is amazing. If it's possible to fall in love with your surgeon - I did!! hahaha In re: to the nurse staff. There were some that I wasn't crazy about - but most of them were AWESOME! They were so encouraging and really cared about how I was feeling and what they could do to make me feel better. Good Luck! Today is my first day home. When is your surgery? Megan
