Well I had my CT scan yesterday. It hurt more than normal when they put the IV in.this was due to the type of ct scan that was ordered. They did a arterial ct scan.my gp is wondering if my major artery in my stomach has a blockage.the reason they are curious about this is because i have already had 1 stent put into my heart in 2008 so hes wondering if thats my current problem.i will have results in about a week.once i have more information i will let you guys know

I am posting this to show how the perception of beauty is wrong.Everyone is beautiful in their own way. This shows an unrealistic perception of beauty. We all knew that they photoshopped pictures to lure you in to buying the product that they are selling but here is proof

Thank you very much. The bench is pretty comfy. Doing pretty good, not getting in all of my protein yet but working on it. Been out to Walmart to walk today. Have finally got the weight I gained from surgery off except for 1 pound so that feels good to know I am back where I was the morning of the surgery. Looking forward to seeing some results soon!
I hope there is an answer and proper diagnosis soon, so you can be fixed and get back to your normal self. This is a big bump in the road but you can handle it and I think it is a good thing for pre ops and new post ops to hear these things and to have a better understanding of some of the risks for complications, even years out. Mind you I'm not saying this is a direct result of your WLS but it could be a contributing factor. It ain't all a bed of roses, even for the ones with little or no complications. Hang in there Sondra, we're all sending you the good vibe!
Hi Sondra, I am glad you have insurance to let you stay home and work on getting better. This sure has been going on a long time, I hope the tests will finally show what is happening. Keep us posted. Hope you start feeling better soon. Barb
I don't know about your problem with the blood sugar, I just wanted to say CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR SURGERY. Welcome to the loosers bench.
Great job Boo Boo. Give yourself a big pat on the back, that is a lot to loose. Barb
Thanks....its just so frustrating because i followed program to the letter, lost all my extra weight and now i am having these problems.I feel bad for posting this on here as it seems lately thats all i have to say.i dont want to scare pre ops away from this surgery because it has done so much for me even with the current problems i am having.I still feel that anyone who needs this surgery should have it even with the possible complications that are involved.
it has given me back my life and extended my life.I would not change my mind if given the choice.
so far the only good thing that has come of my current situation is that i have insurance to cover my wages if that wasnt there i would be totally screwed and would have to try and work even on meds as my sick benefits are done with EI.That would really scare me if i had to work on these meds as i drive for a living and i know if there was an accident that i would be on the hook for everything and my boss would not stick up for me :(
Sondra, very sorry to hear that you are having so many problems. I really hope that you get some answers from your upcoming tests. I'm glad your family Doctor is being so vigilent.
