i am thinking about writing the health minister about the bariatric program offered here.I feel there are many shortcoming with the program and would like to see more options for everyone.i am unsure how to word it though.

i am wanting to discuss the following items.

dietary program within the hospitals for post op patients,councilling for bariatric patients.a place to meet for everyone within community on a monthly basis.

training for bariatric councilling and current program guidelines.

I am hoping to organize one in the spring in Portage la Praire so all the people west of Winnipeg could have a chance to come to a meet and greet. Hopefully I can find a space and we can have a clothing swap as well.

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. Wishing everyone a Happy New Year too! Just past my one month surgiversary (if that's the right word) So far so good with only one time messing up. Still finding my throat/ esophagus(?) is sensitive to certain foods - sore from tube during surgery I suppose.
