I agree with the other posts. I would not be too worried about reaching my intake levels at this point. I had bought extra Boost and my first week home I attempted to choke down a watered down Boost and kept to clear liquids. I followed the guidelines given to me by the dietician and did great. I have not had any issues. Good luck and be patient. :)
there is a spring m&g booked already but i wanted to get together before that and also that early on a saturday would not work for me as i have to drive in to the city
I take the liquid as well. It isn't horrible tasting so thats an added bonus. :)
In one of the previous posts, I mentioned getting together before the SPRING get-together and offered to book a location. I know we will not be able to accomadate everyone's schedule....but how about a Saturday morning? coffee? 10? 10:30?
I have to say that food tastes so much better than the shakes for protein, but for me with a special needs child to get ready for school every morning along with all the normal morning routines, shakes are just easier. There is no way I have 30 minutes to sit and eat breakfast except on the weekend.
Take your time and it will come...
