A patient was complaining about me the other day ( long story .... I had to be the hard a$s and lay down the law.... ) but the funny part is in complaining about me he refered to me as the " tall skinny nurse " bahahahahaha... Made my day. Not the complaint , that was expected and my boss backed me up , but anyone actually possibly referring to me as tall and SKINNY...
I'm 20 lbs away from my goal of the top of the healthy bmi chart but that made me laugh.
That's terrible Kim! Wow I hope everything gets fixed quickly and you are on the mend soon. Take care and have fun shopping!
Congratulations! Take care and follow what you need to do! Everything will be great!
Well make sure you behave then! You don't want to spend anymore time there than necessary!
I am out on parole for the weekend as long as i behave myself. I have my room waiting for me.
oh that's not good, but at least they have hopefully identified the problem and can fix it once and for all. I hope everything goes well for you. Do you have to stay in hospital until surgery or are you home now?
Take good care of yourself!
Ok i cry uncle...I have another ulcer and a probable fistula. They think the ulcer is due to a decreased blood supply to the area...it is the same place as the last one. Dr Vergis is thinking they will have to do a revision of my rny. I will end up with a tinier stomach and i will have to go thru all the food stages again!! There is another less proven option of using stents but he is not thinking it is an option for me. He has to talk to Dr Hardy and they will schedule my surgery for next week. I also have the dreaded leak test on Monday to confirm the fistula....really...I give up...Uncle!
I am thinking at this point you have had every possible complication. some twice. That is amazing. I sure hope they can fix this for you and your complications finally come to an end. Buy yourself something super nice. Hope you feel better soon. Barb
Just wondering how things are going today? Hopefully you are slowly starting to feel better. How are the liquids going down? As I haven't had surgery yet, just wondering what you are consuming now that you are back home. I'm on Day 4 of Boost and can tell you that Boost isn't my favourite drink. Looking forward to other choices post op. Take care and hope you are feeling better as each day passes by.
