Jillian gave me a goal of 177lbs. and right now I am down to 159lbs. and hope to get to 140ish to put me in the average catogery. I don't think it is stupid of you to want more, I think you figure out where your body is happy at!
At my pre-op diet appointment, I was given an estimate of how much I should expect to lose. I DID NOT like that number and I think Jillian noticed my reaction. I know its just a calculation but its bugging me. My goal is about 30lbs less than that. I want to be 170, not 199 as she put. I'm chosing to make it a challenge.
question is... how many of you exceeded the 'estimate' given?? is it stupid of me to want more?
I'm tall, so 170 would be nice on me. I cant have gone through all this to teater-totter at the 200 mark. know what I mean?
You look fantastic! Good for you! Can you comment for me (having surgery May 13) how it's been if you can sort of in 3 month blocks of time. Just wondering! Does it get easier after the first couple of months?
Awesome!

Finally did it.... 100 lbs lost! So happy... and this marks the 1st day of having a BMI in the "normal" range.
Thanks to everyone on OH for your support, advice, and motivating photos... it has all helped so much.
Thank you so much! And thanks to anyone who helped with ideas! As a newbie as of next Monday, things like this can be so helpful. You get so much information at the beginning and throughout and at times, it almost seems confusing as to what we should be getting in a day.

Im just over 3 weeks post op and have had no problems getting protien in since day one .. My protien comes from popeyes and its called allmax isobatural unflavored i added it to my broth for first few days now use in my coffee its adds no flavor and disolves very well .The jar comes to just under 45 dollars and lasted 3 weeks ( just got anther one )
I hated the boost and costco shakes, but I forced them down...I added protein powder to my cream of wheat, oatmeal, yougurt and whatever else masked the taste. I didnt like it but I made myself eat it...nothing tasted good for he first while so it didnt matter if it had protein powder or not. If I find myself low on protein these days, which rarely happens as I swore that if I could eat it I would, I make myself an International low fat decaf french vanilla coffee made with a slurry of protein powder and milk. I too use fitness pal and track, track, track. It does get easier tho. kj
