Hey Sondra!  Love ya for your consideration but when they moved the meeting, I got them to move my appt.  to the same day, so I will be at the info session (plastics) and then the coffee/chat after. Has anyone suggested a meeting spot for after?

I have a referral to plastics the next day, I am having a hell of a time with the big old flap of skin when I exercise so I need to see what I can do to improve it.  I'm not ready for plastics yet but Dr. Hardy felt I should talk to them about how to handle the skin issues until I am ready for skin surgery.  I also want to know if I am a potential candidate for MB or if I should start researching Mexico or pricing things out here.

Hope you are doing better now that you are home!

When is the meeting? I am pretty new to all this (2 weeks post op today) and still don't know a lot of things! Group conversation and meeting others is such a support and inspiration for all of us especially for those of us at the beginning of this next leg of our lives. Congrats again!

well yesterday was my 2 year anniversary for having the RNY.

albeit the last month has been very rough i would do it again in a heartbeat.i have lost 140 lbs, gotten off all of my heart meds.met some wonderful people and made new friends.

although i have not made it public people are starting to put 2 and 2 together.im now fine with it.

as to this past month it has been very rough for myself and family.2 surgeries with =in 2 weeks of each other but they were not really related to my wls.i had 2 herinas repaired the first time and the one that was really a problem anyone could have had.the 2 surgery was to fix another herina that was missed and a small bowel resection.

i can still say that i do not regret any choices i have made up until this point.this surgery has made it so i will see my kids graduate from high school go to collage, get married and have kids.before surgery that was up in the air as to how long i would be around.

once i heal from these surgeries i will be returning to my workouts as i have missed them.i have decided to put off the tummy tuck for awhile as i no longer have sick time and i have had enough of the hospitals for awhile.i still would like to get to a convention soon as there will be so much to learn.

i am still interested in becoming a paitent advocate especially after my last 2 stints in the hospital as they are not set up for wls patients to stay more than a night or two.

hope to see everyone soon

Way to go! Way to go! Way to go! I am so happy for you! I had surgery 2 weeks ago and although I know it takes time, am sure looking forward to doing much what you have done. Good for you! You're an inspiration!

Would love to see both of you beautiful ladies as well. I will try to keep checking on here to make sure I don't miss out on the coffee on the 19th.
