Too funny - I just received my 6 bottle shipment from them yesterday!!
I ordered the pumps for the bottles too!
I wouldn't order Pumpkin again... not much flavor... and the flavor it does have is not much like pumpkin.
I ordered a recipe book by Chef Dave Fouts for post surgery (a chef that also had the surgery) and uses a lots of syrups and extracts in his recipies of shakes and smoothies, etc. This is what prompted the 6 bottle purchase!!
Hey everyone! Noticed some people showing up on our site from here so I thought I'd drop in and answer questions.
@newfie99999 Yes, second cup does sell a couple flavours of the Torani brand - maybe a dozen or two. Starbucks has their own version/brand with just a couple flavours, but the price is typically cheaper than Torani.
@Aprilly Glad to hear! Well, not about the pumpkin. I'm assuming it's the SF Pumpkin Pie and not the regular Pumpkin Pie or Pumpkin Spice? Have you tried using more syrup (you should be about 1oz/4pumps per 8oz drink)? You can usually keep increasing the concentration until you start to get that artificial taste, then back off.
Some flavours like the Peanut Butter (and possibly Pumpkin Pie?) need a bit of milk or even cream to bring out the milder flavour of the syrup - straight black coffee will overwhelm them and water will just dilute them.
I'll try to keep answering questions here if the mods are OK with that.
I would like to wish those of you who are having surgery this week>
GOOD LUCK and you will do wonderfully.
Now i would like to offer some words of advice.

Welcome to the Manitoba Forum! There's a great bunch of people on here, as you will soon find out. I'm almost in shock to hear the clinic is finally telling people about the OH site. It's about time. The original nutritionist with the program actually told me to stop reading from this site. I would have been lost going through the WLS journey without it. So much information and stories of inspiration. Good luck tomorrow!
I am having my WLS on June 3. There are people on this site that have recently or are having surgery this summer. I was referred to this site by the the Bariatric Group. They must have decided to tell people about the site.
here is the link for the wls group on facebook
