We used diabetic boost. You can ask the dietician at the clinic for a sample to try. I know my cousin did that because she has problems with milk. They also gave us some boost at the pre op diet teaching so it was less to buy..they were pretty sticky about what you could use.

i was wondering - what Boost product do you use pre-op? regular? added fibre? increased protein? diabetic? i want to look up whatever product it is and see if it agrees with me - ie do i need to make an alternate arrangement, because there are some sweeteners that my brain can't handle.

It is brutal but well worth it. By the time I was finished my second week I wasn't even doing the 5 a day, I was just too full. It really does get better after about 5 days...good luck!

not for surgery (yet) but when i was pregnant i couldn't swallow solid food so i kind of lived on high protein boost. keep it in the fridge. blend it with ice if you want. try different flavours. and keep in mind, it's only for a short time now! good luck!
