If you can't get into the session, why don't you meet up for coffee later anyways..that way you can get information , ask questions, while it is still fresh in our minds. Not sure where coffee will be, but keep watching..it will likely be at the usual place, Smittys.? barb C

If anyone has signed up for the Plastic Surgery Session on June 19th and can't make it, please let me know. Tardy me called the Bariatric Clinic today to put my name on he list for the session, and it's full. Grrr...

i have been apart of the program for over 2 years.i had posted the requirements to getting aproval.you need to contact the bariatric clinic at the vic.there is no receptionist right now so it might be a while until they contact you.here is the phone number for the clinic

I know someone who is participating in a gastric bypass study that she said is covered under Manitoba Health out of the Victoria hospital. Does anyone know what this study is called or how to become a part of it?

how is your carb intake?are you eating alot of fruit,or refined sugar.What are you eating daily .have you added any otherr new things to your diet.

you would be surprised at the amount of hidden sugar in foods.i no longer just look at sugar amounts on side of boods i also look at total carbs too.i do this because carbs for me act like sugar to a diabetic .

i was saddened to hear this as she was really interested in our journeys.i am glad that she is off to better things but hope the next one they hire is as interested and helpful to us in general.i wonder how long they are going to wait until they find someone to replace her
