Thanks I appreciate the offer, though I already belong to the Wellness Center at Seven Oaks. I really enjoy the feeling of freedom and weightlessness of being in the water,
If you want an aqua size buddy let me know. I go to the gym at the south YMCA and have been thinking about doing the aqua fit on Thurs nights. Lorna

Just wondering how the meet and greet went this past weekend? Working on my anxiety levels.....hopefully will get to one this winter....assuming there is another one that is :). I have set my goal for now at going to aqua classes minimum of three times a week ....working my way to four/five through the winter. I'm limited by joint issues as to doing much on "dry land", however I did get on a tread mill on Saturday and managed 15 mins! I'll try again and as long as I don't cripple myself will keep at it. My view is any movement is better than just sitting on the couch.
Only my husband, my sister-in-law (who came to Mexico with me when I had my surgery) and my immediate supervisor at work knew before I had my surgery. I didn't want a bunch of discussion going on before I had the surgery. It was my decision and I didn't need anybody else giving me their opinion. Once my weight loss was noticeable and people commented on it, I told them how I was losing weight. I got nothing but support from anyone I told. Everyone was happy for me. At that point, I didn't care what anyone said or thought anyway.

Yeah, gotta love those who tell you just eat less and walk more etc. SHEESH! Somehow if you have weight issues you're viewed as "Lazy".
I told who every wanted to know. I didn't hide it from anyone. I figure if they are going to judge me for it then oh well; they must have been judging me before as well. I got help and the surgery because someone shared their experiences with me; and that person saved my life; so I figure I needed to pull up my big girl panties and share my experience; it might make the difference to someone else. That is just me and how I felt. You do what is right for you - because at the end of the day it will be whatever it takes for you to be successful.
