hello my fellow members,

i have not been on here much due ongoing health issues and most days just dont have the energy to go on the pc.

on days that i am able to go on here i usually spend my time researching and communicating with bariatric companies and websites.

i have been researching many issues that come up with wls patient  post op.

I am also in contact with bariatric vitamin company and they are interested in suppling me with samples for the group as i explained to them that there is no real avaliblilty around here for those of us who have already had surgery.i will enclose the reply that they sent me this morning.Would you like me to pursue this.

Again if you are wanting to ask questions i will answer them when i can.notifications are not being sent to me from this website which is disappointing as i dont know when i get messages or responses to my posts.

here is the reply from the company

Hello, We would love to send you samples of some of our products! We do have sample kits of our chewable vitamins designated for the specific procedures. We also have single serving packets of the High Protein Meal Replacements for $3.25 each. We will need to create an account for you and the easiest way to do this would be over the phone. If you would please give us a call so that we can get more information from you, that would be great. If email does work best for you we will need you to provide us with your first and last name, email, phone number, address, name of your surgeon or name of the practice, type of procedure and products that you might be interested in. Once we have all of this information we can create an account for you and send you samples. We have also forwarded your information to Brooke Salyer and she will be in contact with you regarding your interest in products for your bariatric program.

Sondra wandering if you my have a answer for me. Who makes the decision if the surgery is a go?  Is it the board at the Vic or the surgeon?

from what i understand the surgeons make that choice based on the current criteria.I understood that the team gets the requests and sorts through them and puts them in to groups and the surgeons go through the applications and have the final desision
