Craving Change Workshop Question

Hi everyone!

I am new to the forum.  I went to the seminar at Victoria Hospital a couple of weeks ago.  She told us that we would have to take 4 Craving Change classes, I can't seem to find where they are offered.  I have my next appointment on May 14th but I was hoping to find out more about these classes before then.

Any ideas or information is greatly appreciated.

I am about an hour from Winnipeg.

Craving change is offered at the Vic. You will find out at your next appt. I am waiting too my appt is may 8.

The Craving change program is offered through the Bariatric Clinic at the Victoria Hospital. They usually have the timetable on the bulletin board outside the office. You will probably be able to book your sessions once you have your appointments on the 14th as the psychologist booked mine when I met with her.

I took mine through Winnipeg Regional Health authority. 

You can check with your local RHA too - I am about an hour away from Winnipeg as well, and just found out that I just missed the Craving Change workshop that was offered at our local health centre. I contacted my RHA and unfortunately they haven't scheduled another one for my area, but will be notified when they do. 

Do you mind me asking, what area do you live in?  It would be so nice to be able to take mine in a Health Centre closer then Wpg.

I know they were offering it in Brandon but when I called last spring, they were booked and had a waiting list so I imagine it is still hard to get into...

I am in the Gimli area, and know I missed out recently. I think the next workshop they are having in the IREHA is Pine Falls. I also noticed Selkirk is offering a "eating for health" program in June, which might be worth checking out!

im not from Winnipeg, but am in the program, and am DAYS AWAY from having my surgery scheduled! YAY! But, the craving change is offered by most dieticians, just ask your doctor, or your public health office, and ask to talk to a dietician, and they will be able to help you.
