Meet & Greet

Happy New Year everyone.  I am wondering if there is a meet and greet planned for the near future?

I am hoping to organize one in the spring in Portage la Praire so all the people west of Winnipeg could have a chance to come to a meet and greet. Hopefully I can find a space and we can have a clothing swap as well.

I think to be fair we should take a poll and ask people where they would like to meet in Winnipeg. Can't rule out restaurants because some people might enjoy having a light lunch together. It needs to be what works for all people interested in attending.

Do community clubs have rooms, or senior centres? I know community groups can use schools here free of charge. Or does somebody have good connections with a church etc and could let us borrow a room for an afternoon?

i hope we can arrange something soon in wpg.there are many new people that i hope can come out.Any ideas on where we can hold meeting.i hope we can avoid a resturant as having a gathering around food is not the best idea.

What about that library where we have been meeting for the last couple of times?
