well i saw my gp today.i needed a refill on pain meds.while i was there .He also told me that i will be admitted to hosp in mid january to get me off the pain meds and to see what my pain is like with out the pain meds.i informed him on the status of my appts.he said something very interesting to me.he said that because i was very early in the program that the doctors are entering new territory because they have not dealt with problems this far out  so the problems i am facing are also new to them and i am kinda a Guinea pig for them.while this makes sense it also is concerning as they dont know what is wrong.unfortunatly every problem that any bariatric patient develops is a new learning experience for the doctors.

i hope that in the end they use what they learn from my problems to help others sooner than it is taking to help me.

i hope everyone has a wonderful and healthy new year and hopefully we can meet up soon

p.s he also said that he would be happy if i am able to return to work by april

Sondra, no matter whether you are a guinea pig or not, there is NO WAY it should take this long for someone in constant pain to get help! I hope that 2014 is a much better year for you in all ways.

 broken heart Cheers to everyone!

Dine, how are you doing following your abdominoplasty?

I'm doing great, thanks! I need a bit of a "touch up" of some uneven spots along the incision line, which Dr. Dolynchuk is going to do after the six-month mark (no extra charge). My abdominal muscles are finally not really sore when I sit up or sneeze, LOL. Clothes fit properly!
