subject for article
hello all,
let me say first of all that the choice is entirely up to you if you would like to participate in the request that i am posting about.
A Canadian freelance journalist (Alison Motluk) has contacted us with her interest in talking to OH members regarding issues with malabsorption, including micronutrient deficiencies, neuropathic pain and problems with absorbing pharmaceuticals.
Ms. Motluk writes for both Readers Digest Canada and CBC radio's The Current. Ms. Motluk would like to talk with members that have experienced any of these issues that are willing to speak with her. She is interested in member experiences from anywhere in the world, but most interested in hearing from Canadians.
You can share your story and experiences with her anonymously if you prefer. You do not have to reveal your name or location, if that's an issue.
I have spoken with her on the phone for almost 2 hours and she actually knows alot about wls.We discussed pretty much everything about my situation and other complications involved.
she would love to arrange to come out to winnipeg to meet with us all at one of our meet and greets.she would also like to talk with others in person or on phone at first before she comes out.
she is really interested in micronutrient deficiencies .
we had a really great talk.i told her that i would post this here and get feedback from our local members to see if there was any interest.she said that our real names will be kept out of articles if that is what you would like.i told her that i would like my name not to be used.
Please send me a message if you have any questions or are interested and i will give you her email address so that you can contact her.
I hope that some of you will be interested in helping as she wants to show all aspects of wls
I would not post this if i felt that it would do more harm than good.
