well its been awhile since i posted as i have not had much energy to come on here.I am still struggling with unexplained stomach pain.I had a Ct scan done again in november and they can see anything wrong.i am still heavily medicated for pain.my dr is at a loss as to what is going on.i am still waiting to get into specialist.Things are not getting better in fact if im brutally honest they are getting worse.I am losing weight again as i can no longer tolerate solid foods.right now i am living on protien shakes, popsicles and greek yougurt.whenever i try solid foods i am in horrible pain. This has just started over the weekend and i have not told my dr yet.I am sleeping alot and relying on pain meds.i am taking extra stool softners to help with all the pain meds im on.

well thats all for now I hope everyone is doing well on here.Sorry to be such a downer but this is a safe place for me to be honest about whats going on with me

So sorry to hear this Sondra. I'm hoping and praying that things will get better for you soon, or at least the doctors can give you some idea of what's going on so they have a place to start. Push MBHealth to get you to see a specialist even if this means going out of province or stateside.

All the best and have strength...

After i posted this yesterday I ended up in the local Er .I was in so much pain that they gave me a 10mg morphine shot and changed my pain meds to hydromorphine.I posted a question on the bbgc on facebook and they gave me a suggestion as to possible cause of my current situation.they think it might be a petersen hernia.it is a complication of RNY.I am going to mention this to my pcp a

Sorry to hear about the Emergency trip but glad someone has given you a possible cause for the doctors to check. All the best and please stay in touch.

Well i saw my gp this morning.he is not happy with latest turn of events with me.he is allowing me to stay on pain meds until after Christmas then i will be admitted to hospital to start detox to get off meds.i am happy with this as i do not want to be on these meds at all.he has also put a call into specialist to see when my appointment is.i am waiting to hear back.i mentioned about the hernia idea and he said that he was unfamiliar with it but would look into it for me.o am on dilaudid 2 mg as needed on top of my oxyneo.i will post more wen i no something.

i honestly do not mean to scare members by posting my complications but feel that it is nessecary to be honest with you.i still would have gastric bypass even with my problems.

well i finally got appt with specialist.January 31st.i told them that i would be able to come in anytime if they had cancellation all i would need is an hour notice to get to city.i also had to call my insurance to give them an update on whats going on.it looks like i will be off for a few more months after christmas as my latest doctors note only goes until the beginning of january.yesterday was a rough day again.it seems that i am having more bad days than good.i hate feeling like this and really wish they would figure out wtf is going on with me.i have increased my shakes as suggested by drs.i have also increased my stool softners again to help combat the heavy meds i am on as i do not need to add constipation to my list of problems.
