I wish your massage tip worked as well for me! I've tried it a couple of times over a couple of days and nothing has happened so far. I have spots that feel like rocks at the side of my breasts. I had some lipo there that I didn't have when I had my breast reduction 12 years ago. I'll keep trying, when I remember to do it!

How is it going? I had my consult yesterday and am considering getting it done here to. Mexico is not that much cheaper and at least here you have help if you need it.

Do you mind if I ask what you paid for the Ab Plasty and what type did you have done? Was it the fleur de lise?

Hi Lorna

The abdominoplasty alone was around $8500. I had some other lipo done as well. The total was over $10,000. I had to look up the fleur de lis. No, I didn't have that version, just the horizontal incision with some liposuction in the upper abdomen and around the back.

I also decided to have it done here in Winnipeg for the same reasons. It wasn't that much cheaper. Now that I've had it done, I can't imagine having to fly for five or six hours, make the trek through the Mexican border & slog around two airports after having that surgery. It would have been pretty awful.

Hi

If you go to a good facility, I would recommend it 100%. You have to be careful, though. Some places are not so good.

The place I went to (see my signature) is a designated Center of Excellence for Bariatric Surgery. Others on the Manitoba board went to another physician in Tijuana and were very happy with him as well.

I'm sure there are other reputable surgeons in other cities in Mexico. Be sure to do your homework and check out credentials and reviews from other people before deciding to choose one.
