MEET and GREET

Hi Everyone

I recall rumblings about a meet and greet in July and then never heard anything else.  Does anyone know if one is scheduled for August?  September?  If so, where? when?

If not, is anyone interested in getting together?

I will be in Winnipeg the week of August 26-30th and would love to get together and put faces to names, either as in a Meet & Greet or just a smaller group for coffee. (St Vital Center? afternoon?)

I am in. I am not available on the 26 th but any other day there I would be able to.

Should we look into booking one of the library branches or maybe just a coffee or dinner thingy

I can make coffee on Thursday Aug. 29th in the evening but Friday Aug. 30th is all ready booked for the day.

I can make any time on the 30th; but am out the other days.

I would love to attend me of these meet and greets but I am leaving for holidays on Monday the 19th and won't be bac****il school starts. Hopefully we'll have one in September.

depending on how many of us can come on the date maybe we should look at a quiet park or something like that. we could bring a snack or something that would be good for all.i am availble most days i do have another ct scan booked for the 29th .

i know that resturants are hard to have a meeting at as they are noisy and not very private.i think the best place is somewhere we can visit without alot of interuption or noise.if we choose inside somewhere it would be nice if they allowed outside food.

a hotel suite like last summer would be awesome if everyone chipped in.

I called a church that I do some community work with and the U of W Student Association to check if either of their board rooms might be available for use. Will report back.

What does everyone think of meeting for coffee at Smitty's on Pembina Hwy and Grant ( a bit more central) on Wednesday 28 August 2013 at 19:00?

AND

doing the church/private function in September?

I am thinking more people might be available in Sept once summer is over and the kids are back to school etc.
