results tomorrow

well i got a call from my GP to come in to discuss my results.i am kinda concerned because i know from past experiance that they dont call you with good news.i will keep you posted once i get the results.

today was a rough day for pain.i really thought about going back to hosp for pain but changed mind because of the hassles i get when i go there and the doctors dont believe me.

i am hoping that tomorrow i will finally get my questions answered and a new perscription for pain meds as i have run out of the last batch of pain killers.

Is a hernia or gall bladder problems still worth it after the weight loss?

i can not comment on the gall bladder issues as i havent had one for many years.as for the herinas the main ones that are bothering me are not wls related.they did go in an repair ones associated with  wls as a precaution.i had a hystorectomy last year and have extra space so that what i figure is causing the problems.i would still have the surgery in a heartbeat.

Thanks for your reply.  I am reading so many things and am a bit confused.  A little scared too.  I hope my Dr. will do the surgery or that I will be approved.  He tells me he will but I have learned not to believe everything. Is the program hard to get into?

im not sure how it is now.i was one of the first 100 done for the pilot program.if you go further back in the forum i have posted the guidelines that the clinic had sent me.i have been working closely with them .they often get me to visit or talk to pre ops or newly post ops.

well i got results.well for the good news.my foot is not broken.

the bad news is that i got my ct scan results and looks like im headed for another surgery.the scan shows atleast one herina and a small bowel obstruction.if nothing else it shows that i was not making the pain up.i am waiting now to hear from dr vergis office for appointment to figure out what we do from here.

someone mentioned that because i also had a hysterectomy that could be the reason for so many problems also.as there is alot of extra space in there. they also increased my pain meds to help cope until we can get surgery scheduled.
