trip to states

i am thinking about organizing a shopping trip to the states sometime this summer.i am couriuos if anyone was interested in going.i have a minivan and could take 5 others.would love it if everyone pitched in for gas.we could go to  grand forks,fargo or the twin cities.

I would love to at some point but the summer is crazy booked up and i haven't renewed my passport yet.  Going to soon.  i hope you do get something organized.  I may be able to go on a trip in the fall!

I'm in assuming I'm off work ( I work three weekends in August though wahhhhh)

How long would you like to go for, a day trip an overnight, weekend?   (chip in on hotel rooms too. for extra duty free amounts)

That would be so fun. I would be interested! Love Fargo and Minneapolis, not too fussy about Grand Forks. Keep me posted.

i prefer grand forks cause i know where to buy everything  but would love to go to minni.i am currently looking at prices for hotels.i would love to do it anytime from the 22-28th of july or later in august.(my DD is having knee surgery on the 29th so i have to be here to look after her

Minneapolis can be super cheap for hotels... Hotwire ( can use betterbidding.com so you have an idea what hotel you are getting)  you can get a hotel like a country inn and suites for like 40-60 a night... Grand forks tends to be around 75-100 a night....

I show Econo Lodge in Grand Forks for $58, per night and a couple others at around $61 and $63 per night.  

Super 8 (bloomington area should be near mall of America) is $64. per night
