Hi Michelle! I recognize your name :) Right on with the 100lbs. Keep on going with the last 25lbs. I found my last 25 were the hardest. Here's hoping yours are easier to get rid off then mine :)

My name is Karen and I live in Portage la Prairie. I am one of the people who sat on a waiting list for 2+ years until the Manitoba program expanded their criteria. I lost about 40 lbs in that time and have completed my orientation, first meeting with the team. Due to a conflict with scheduling I will see the dietician for the first time on the 4th and that is the first day of Craving Change for me. See the team again in August and hoping I will get to see the surgeon after that.

Excellent that you finally got into the program! I will be at the main information desk in  the front lobby  @ the Vic on Thursday until 3pm. Please come and say hi :)

I will probably miss you Michelle, my appointment isn't until 4pm and craving change is at 5:30. But I am attending 2 of the session in the afternoon in the later half of July so maybe we mill meet then.

I have to admit, I'll be long gone by that time. I work a variety of shifts but am always there Thursdays and Fridays until 3pm :) Maybe next time.

hi michelle...i'm laurie and am from flin flon....i'm scheduled for my surgery on july 8th and am very excited....i'm down 27 lbs so far and can't wait to be healthier and more mobile

Only 2 more days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I will be at the main desk if you have a minute to come say hi :)  I wish you a smooth surgery and a speedy recovery.

Hi Michelle, it has been a long time since I have seen a post from you.
My name is Barb C. I had my sleeve just over 1 year ago. I am down 100 pounds and I am now in maintenance, (I guess) as I have not lost anything in about 3 months now. My BMI is down to 25 so I am happy with that. It scares me though that I might start regaining again. I will keeps watch for any regain.
Nice to hear from you and maybe we will see you at a meet and greet.

Hi Barb. It has been a long time. I do not have the internet at home anymore is it is difficult to get on line at times :)   I am hoping to make a meet and greet one day! It seems like I am always working when they are happening :)
