It will get easier. I am 6 weeks post op and I have to say up to Day 4 I felt the same as you. Day 3 I had a terrible headache but once Day 5 came along I felt much better. Still missed the chewing aspect but managed to get over that also. I agree the sweetness is something that seems a little much but again I managed to overcome that. It does get better. I thought I would never make the 2 weeks but I did and I didn't once cheat! Not once! I found cooking for my husband quite easy because as time went on the smell of food moved further away from something attractive. YOU CAN DO IT!

it does get easier !!!  day 6 was my worst day . I was head hungry and pissed at everything lol  try to keep busy and  avoid the fridge becouse the  reward when this is done is sooo much sweeter then what the fridge can offer you . Im almost 10 weeks out and down 63 lbs . if that helps at all . Feel  free to message me if you need any ideas on what to do to spice boost up or just need to vent .

You are doing very well. I tried to private message you but our profile won't allow it. So here I am writing here! You are down 63 pounds in 10 weeks. Good for you! I am 6 weeks out and have lost only 37 pounds. Don't know if I am not doing something right or just a slower loser. I'll continue to work at it though. How much protein are you eating in a day? I was told to get between 60-80 grams a day. I am walking about 5-6 days a week for 35-45 minutes. I am just going to start biking. Slowly but surely.

When i was getting prepped for surgery i told dr hardy that the pre op is truly a crule thing to do to people who love food lol Strawberry was not my favorite either lol. Try adding mint extract to chocolate. Makes a nice minty shake if you throw it in a blender. Also add pumpkin spice to vanilla. If you like it in your coffee you can use Starbucks sugar free suryp ( it's available at Starbuck for like$15 for ahuge bottle ) you can make ice coffee and use boost in it too for a mica one or vanilla one . some people make ice cream with the boost too. As for water. I used a lot of mio and crystal light Drank a lot of tea and coffee and tried to keep busy lol I also missed chewing a lot !! Just focus on today. And take one day at a time
It's so amazing how incredible this works. I'm shocked everyday. I still am never hungry. I focus on eating things that matter ( protein ) and have gone from size 22 to a 14 and still can't believe how fast this happens. Keep strong !
