June 19th Information Session

If anyone has signed up for the Plastic Surgery Session on June 19th and can't make it, please let me know.  Tardy me called the Bariatric Clinic today to put my name on he list for the session, and it's full.    Grrr...

i too tried to RSVP and was told the session was full.

Could someone ask my questions for me?

If you can't get into the session, why don't you meet up for coffee later anyways..that way you can get information , ask questions, while it is still fresh in our minds. Not sure where coffee will be, but keep watching..it will likely be at the usual place, Smittys.? barb C

PS....Lori..And you know what...after the last meeting where only 1/2 of the people showed upthat had signed up to attend..I am sure there willbe at least one person that does not show up. I would just go and show up anyways...if it is full and you are taking up someone's seat, then just stand in the back...Just saying! barb

I was thinking the same thing Barb.  There's got to be a few people who won't show up.  Either way I'm going to try make it to Smitty's afterwards.  (I assume that's where everyone will be going).   This body of mine will probably never see the light of day when it comes to plastics anyway.

I'm thinking that as this program grows they are going to have to find a bigger meeting room to hold these info sessions.  There has to be well over 200 people that have had WLS and hundreds more on the waiting list.  At a couple of previous sessions the tables have been pushed aside to allow more seating, but when they're not, that room probably only holds 30-40 people. 

 

not to sound like a negative nelly ..I have spoken to a few people who are all looking forward to this session , seems to be the most anticipated ,im sure its gonna be packed  there  knowing the  with the number of people having surgery lately . I agree hopfully soon they will be able to accommodate larger numbers of groups .

i will be there.there were many of us in the hospital for the last one,that was why we were not there

Is this the first plastics one ?

yes it is.they had postponed it from earlier date

I have just started this journey as my surgery was only one month ago but how do you find out about meetings like this? Sometime down the line I wilL need this info.
