A little victory dance!
In 2 weeks I have my set of 4 hour appointments at the Vic. Actually I will see everyone but the dietician who I will see on July 4th. Amara assures me this will not effect my timeline for surgery.
So I have been doing all the things they told us at orientation, started My Fitness Pal, exercising, have dumped pop for almost 2 months now and started with the vitamins. I weighed myself today and I am down a total of 70 lbs from when I started this journey quite awhile back! I am starting to feel ready for the appointments and everything that will come after. I can't believe after such a long wait that this is finally happening.

Congrats on getting your appointments. Sometimes you'll find time go by slowly but stick it out (as obviously you have in already losing 70 lbs) and other times time will go by quickly. I had my first set of appointments in August of last year and now I'm scheduled to have my Gastroscopy next month. After that is done I'll be given my surgery date.
MFP is great for recording meals, analyzing recipes and planning meals. I also use eaTracker to check my daily nutrition levels. Both are very helpful.
All the best....
They all asked about what changes I had made since the orientation and we discussed them and then all 4 of them gave me goals to accomplish. So questions like how much exercise, do you smoke/drink pop, stressors in your life. The dietician goes through your food logs and makes suggestions. They give you your Craving Changes dates, your goals and a date for your next appointment. It was not that uncomfortable and I am pretty shy around strangers.
