coffee soon with NGD

i was wondering if anyone wanted to get togeter for coffee when granny is in town.seeing how they changed the meeting i think that we should still try and get together with her.

When is the meeting? I am pretty new to all this (2 weeks post op today) and still don't know a lot of things! Group conversation and meeting others is such a support and inspiration for all of us especially for those of us at the beginning of this next leg of our lives. Congrats again!

Hey Sondra!  Love ya for your consideration but when they moved the meeting, I got them to move my appt.  to the same day, so I will be at the info session (plastics) and then the coffee/chat after. Has anyone suggested a meeting spot for after?

I have a referral to plastics the next day, I am having a hell of a time with the big old flap of skin when I exercise so I need to see what I can do to improve it.  I'm not ready for plastics yet but Dr. Hardy felt I should talk to them about how to handle the skin issues until I am ready for skin surgery.  I also want to know if I am a potential candidate for MB or if I should start researching Mexico or pricing things out here.

I need to start looking at plastics to just to see what will get covered here in MB if anything. I just don't know what plastic surgeon would be best suited to go to - one that has experience in this area and how the MB system works or how to work the system to best advantage for Bariatric patients.

So if you guys have names I would really appreciate any info you can pass along. I am meeting with my Dr at the end of Jun and wanted to get a referral from her at that time.

the clinic referred me to dr.Islur. hes in same office on tache.he is familliar with the program and bariatric patients

Tesha/Lorna, I know a good plastic surgeon in Wpg.  Dr. Murray, both my nephew and I had him for carpal tunnel surgery.  I had to wait longer than if I went with another surgeon because I insisted on him.  (he is crazy busy)  also Trish just had her tummy tuck done : we can find out her surgeon too.  The world according to eggface  website , she also recomends her surgeons, I think she went to Mexico too.

I would like to meet with you all as well. Have they changed the plastics meeting? To when? Shall we meet in Selkirk this time? Please post when it is organized. I need to get some inspiration back........

The plastics info session was moved to June 19th from June 5th and we are planning to get together for coffee after that so it would great to see you.
