Lack of protein.

Thank you so much! And thanks to anyone who helped with ideas! As a newbie as of next Monday, things like this can be so helpful. You get so much information at the beginning and throughout and at times, it almost seems confusing as to what we should be getting in a day.

I hated the boost and costco shakes, but I forced them down...I added protein powder to my cream of wheat, oatmeal, yougurt and whatever else masked the taste.  I didnt like it but I made myself eat it...nothing tasted good for he first while so it didnt matter if it had protein powder or not.  If I find myself low on protein these days, which rarely happens as I swore that if I could eat it I would, I make myself an International low fat decaf french vanilla coffee made with a slurry of protein powder and milk.  I too use fitness pal and track, track, track.  It does get easier tho.   kj

Im just over  3 weeks post op and have had no problems getting protien in since day one .. My protien comes from popeyes and its called allmax isobatural unflavored  i added it to  my broth for first few days now use in my coffee  its adds no flavor and disolves very well  .The jar comes to just under 45 dollars and lasted 3 weeks  ( just got anther one )
